Around 50 CBT communities in Chiang Mai will showcase their tourism products – ecotourism and culture related. There will no specific packages on sale, but interested fair goers can talk and arrange packages with the participating communities on-site.
Leaders from CBT communities in other provinces — Chiang Rai, Mae Hong Son, Satun and Chumporn — will share their experiences. Other guest speakers with a background in CBT work will also make presentations during a forum on how to develop CBT.
There will also be stage performance from communities; a market fair selling local food and handicrafts and awards for outstanding CBT villages in the northern region – Chiang Mai, Mae Hong Son, Lam Phun and Lampang.
